Driving for Something Bigger than Winning

Kyle Busch, Hailie Deegan, Matt DiBenedetto, Brandon Jones and others have drove with 1st Foundation this year

This season, some of the hottest names in racing have used their platforms to raise awareness for 1st Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to assisting police, special operations and the families of those who serve. 1st Foundation not only provides grants for continuing education, specialized equipment and training, but also helps service dogs and retired dogs find new loving families in need.

So far this year, Kyle Busch, Hailie Deegan, Matt DiBenedetto, Jack Hawksworth, Brandon Jones and Erik Jones have all sported the 1st Foundation logo on their cars. Brandon Jones regularly drives the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 19 1st Foundation Toyota Supra, which has helped make the foundation well-known in the racing world. The other drivers have all sported individually customized 1st Foundation license plates and some have even featured the logo on their car’s body schemes.

The foundation receives national attention every time a representing car takes to a track, whether it be in the Xfinity Series or the Monster Energy Cup Series. This Saturday, the No. 19 1st Foundation Supra will return to televisions when Jones races alongside teammate DiBenedetto in the CTECH Manufacturing 180 at Road America. Meanwhile, DiBenedetto will display a personalized 1st Foundation tag on the back of the JGR No. 18 iK9 Toyota Supra.

Tuesday, DiBenedetto revealed the tag in a photo on Twitter, showing off the large personalized text reading “Guido” across the center.

“They personalized my @iK9_Global Supra for Road America this weekend! Love it #Guido” DiBenedetto shared on his personal account.

The 1st Foundation license plate has become symbolic in the NASCAR world this season, reminding both drivers and fans of the sacrifices American heroes make daily to protect the nation’s many freedoms. If you would like to purchase your own 1st Foundation license plate, information can be found at 1stfoundation.com. All proceeds will go directly to the foundation’s support programs.

Backers can also show support for 1st Foundation and the brave men, women and K9s protecting America by applying for dog adoption, buying merchandise or donating directly at 1stfoundation.com.
